New Mobility at the newPark.<\/p><\/div>\n

The mobility concept of the newPark was discussed at the meeting of the urban development, building and planning committee of the Datteln Council on 21 April 2021.<\/p>\n

At the committee meeting, Andreas T\u00e4uber, Managing Director of newPark GmbH, presented the essential elements of the mobility concept. To promote sustainable and environmentally friendly mobility behaviour among employees and at the same time meet their mobility needs: That is the goal of the mobility concept. The profile of the newPark as a location for the green tech industry creates a good basis for the acceptance of a sustainable mobility structure. Due to the park’s location in the countryside and its proximity to the surrounding cities, the newPark also offers good conditions for ensuring attractive accessibility by bicycle. In order to increase the use of environmental transport, the offers outside the newPark must be improved: New mobility can be implemented in an exemplary manner in the newPark through the expansion of the existing cycle path network and coordinated planning for public transport connections.
